You can add additional Policy status/stages but be careful that if you change any values you may break any system automation or any automation you may have set up earlier.
Some other values you may want to know are as follows:
- Closed Won = Policies won for reporting purposes
- Closed Lost = Policies lost for some reason
- Open = Policy neither won or lost
- Pipeline = Use in sales pipeline reporting
- Closed = Used in sales pipeline reported as closed
- Omitted = Not to be used in any reporting
