Understanding your AIA (Insight) Data

IMPORTANT NOTES YOU NEED TO READ AND UNDERSTAND BEFORE YOU IMPORT DATA

AIA Insight, is exactly that.  Our import tool has a separate import option for AIA and AIA Insight, and this article related to data downloaded directly from the AIA Insight system.

The data file only contains In Force policies, so if you have existing policies in Adviser CRM and they have since been cancelled, lapsed etc, these will not get updated with any data imports.

You will need to manually update these policies and benefits to their current status.

Downloading your AIA (Insight) data

You can download data from AIA Insight which normally contains AIA policy data before the Sovereign acquisition. Any post acquisition data we will refer to as AIA.  To download AIA from Insight, you will need to log into AIA Insight and follow the steps below.
  1. Click My Business
  2. Click Reports
  3. Click Client Listing

The next step you will be given the option to download client data from the Agency Code you are currently logged in with, or download all associated agency code data.

Once your report is finished being loaded, click the Download button at the bottom of the screen and save to your computer.  This is the file you need to import into Adviser CRM.  You do not need to open the file or make any changes to this file.

Once you have your data files, you can import your data to Adviser CRM by following the instructions in this step by step video tutorial,  Insurer Data Import Guide
